Ode to the Fallen

There is music in the midst of desolation,
And a glory that shines upon our tears.
They went with songs to teh battle, they were young,
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with faces to the foe.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old,
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.

We will remember them. Lest we forget.

I think it is all from the original. I got it from my dawn service ceremony program, so assume so.

Thanks Rhian. When is D off to Thailand?

Hey! Melz is already in Thailand. I think she sentg the email to your shadowsneak address. I'll forward it to you.

Did you go to dawn service Damian? I wanted to, but had to work Anzac Day. Next year.

Nugget - is that you Dad? Isn't it the original, would have thought you'd know that.
